This is the only place I have to write this and get this out of my head so please excuse this. My beloved friend and pet cat of over 18 years, Puck, has just passed away. My Stepdad Russ was home when it happened. Not more than 3 hours before was he jumping on the bed to cuddle with him, and then later in the day Puck tried to get on the bed, and just couldn't do it. He walked away for a while and laid on the plush and cushy bathroom rug and just fell asleep...forever. He hadn't been doing well the past few years. Aaaaand I'm back. *sigh* After a near-miss cancelation I was able to get home safe and sound last night. But damn it, right now it's a bloody snowstorm out there. Mostly cuz I got some bonus cash from work for Christmas, but also cuz HD-DVD has kicked the bucket, for the most part anyway, and I wanted to add to my HD repertoire. Leaving Florida is sucking bad. I'm sitting here in the transit lounge of the Panama City International Airport which is a rather small affair, only 2 gates in use and two gates that -used- to be in use. Delta and KLM/Northwest(NWA) are the only ones here. Milky white and pastel gray colors flood my peripheral view behind my matte black lenovo laptop. So much for interior design.
